Ardak Alipova completed her Aalto Science Institute (AScI) internship under my supervision

I am happy to share that I have successfully supervise my first student: Ardak Alipova from the Nazarbayev University (NU) in Kazakhstan!
Alipova worked as a summer intern for the Aalto Science Institute (AScI) during the 2025 summer (from June to September). We worked together in a paper submitted to the 2026 ACM CHI conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems.
We worked at the intersection of Large Language Models (LLMs), and Bayesian and design optimization.
